Neighborhood Alerts:
Coyote Alert - Several coyote sightings have occurred in and around our neighborhood. Coyotes are natural predators of our area and are relatively harmless, however as their natural habitat shrinks, coyotes are forced to enter human-occupied areas in search of food. Please keep an eye on your pets to avoid any harm to them.
Suspicious Activity Alert
Please be sure to lock your car and home doors & windows at ALL times. As an additional precaution, we encourage homeowners to leave outdoor lighting on overnight should you live in a home without a fenced back yard orleave a car parked in your driveway.
Report any suspicious activity to the local Gwinnett County Police Dept (non-emergency) 770-513-5100. If this is an emergency call 911.
Homeowner - Excessive Street Parking
There have been several complaints of homeowners continually parking cars in front of their homes for long periods of time (day & night). This not only causes congestion for homeowners who live around or beyond those problem areas, but also causes a safety hazard should an ambulance or fire truck need to get through quickly.
Please be respectful of your neighbors and park all vehicles in your garage or driveway all ALL times. Should you need to leave a vehicle in the street, please try to park on the same side if others are already parked there. Local authorities may give parking tickets should they be in the area and find these situations hazardous.
Dog Waste: We’ve had several complaints of homeowners not picking up their dog waste while walking their dogs in the neighborhood. Please be respectful of your neighbors and our community and pick up after your pet.
Speeding: Please watch your speed when driving into the neighborhood - kids are playing; neighbors are walking. The speed limit is 25 mph.
Home Improvements
Please note that while improvements and additions to your property are always welcome, there are some very specific covenants, rules, and regulations that may govern your work. It is highly recommended that you first consult your Covenants and ARC Design Manual (both found on this website on The Association Page) to see if your idea will need approval from the ARC (Architectural Review Committee) before you begin.
To request a Modification Approval Form for all major home improvements, please send an email to turnburyoakhoa@yahoo.com or contact one of the Board Members.
A minimum of 2 Board Members signatures is required for approval on the request form.
